The
Project

As a community of 38 homes, Lumina fuses modern design with historic charm. A collection of studio, and one and two-bedroom units, this building is ideally located between downtown Nanaimo and the historic south end. Just minutes from the waterfront and bustling downtown core, Lumina’s architecture features offer a modern take on the area’s industrial heritage.

The third building in Harbourview District developed by Principle Property Group and Parkshore Projects, Lumina required its own, unique brand identity that aligned with the overarching community brand. Plus, it needed a marketing strategy that would result in a successful project sell-out.

A cohesive
brand story

Inspired by classic sophistication, every detail was meticulously thought-out to create a distinct identity and cohesive brand story.

The building’s linear shape and crown moulding accents are captured in the clean curvature of the modern serif ‘Hatton’ font used in the logo. Drawing from both the elegance of the logo and linear building design, the interior colour pallets were selected to offer a luxurious blend of wood and stone that combine beautifully with either the light or dark cabinetry finishes.

The dark muted navy, dusty blue and white brand colour scheme compliment the elegance of the font and buildings architectural details while still aligning with the overarching brand of the master-planned community.

Sophisticated interior finishings bring an element of luxury throughout the building.
